As many of you will recall, Bill and I had the pleasure of traveling to the Black Sea region earlier this year as part of a listener trip. It was an absolutely magical trip. I have always enjoyed traveling to that part of the world. Literally sandwiched between two continents, there is no better place to enjoy the rich cultural blending of the East and the West.
I received several emails asking why I had chosen to post our Antarctica photos but neglect the Black Sea. I’m so sorry for the oversight!

Did you turn the rugs over to check for the “mistakes” to confirm they are REALLY hand made?
Had a teacher in high school who specialized in the purchasing of these beautiful rugs - she gave the class a crash course in finding “fakes”
