Bill and I have had the good fortune to travel to a great many amazing locales over the years. Our latest adventure was as austere as it was beautiful. And thanks to my very good friend, Ilene – it was another successful and memorable trip.
We set out from Ushuaia, Argentina aboard the Explorer II. Ilene selected this ship for its size and ice-strengthened hull. A relief considering the tumultuous seas and building-sized icebergs!

Antarctica?! Why would you choose Antarctica? Bill, you must have spent too much time behind the microphone. Next treat the family to an exotic and warm destination!

Did you go down past Patagonia on the west side of the South American continent? Chile is absolutely beautiful! The cold would probably put a damper on my fun. I guess you all looked like you dressed for the occasion.
